Because the week is filled with hectic schedules and not as much family time as I'd like, I love love LOVE to savor our family togetherness through the lens on the weekends. This is the most special time because we're all together the entire weekend and being with my family (and capturing it all) is my number one passion of all. :) This weekend, I savored (through my iphone lens) how excited C was for me to take a picture of her and her "monkey" artwork that she brought home from school on Friday. Hooray that she still wants me to take her picture! :)

Hey! Did C turn into a monkey???? Oh no, there she is!! Whew!! :):)

We spent Saturday at the Audubon Zoo. I always...ALWAYS...love passing by the Audubon Park on our way in. (It's located across the street from the zoo). It's always filled with people on the track and I just love all the pretty green that fills it up. We still haven't been, but it's definitely on our list.

I always LOVE savoring the view of my man walking his kids in front of me wherever we go. I can never get enough. :) And, yes, C was HAPPY to be at the zoo, I just happened to have caught her looking mad because we were stopped for a second to get our tickets. LOL!

I wanted to take a pic with C in front of the elephant, but she refused. Luca had NO problems at all. Thank goodness! Can I keep him this age forever??? ;) But, then, C said she'd take a pic with me in front of the buddha on the way to see the elephants. Hip Hip HOORAY!!

We did one happy face and one silly face. YEAH!!!! :) Oh, and for all my gator fans, I did get a GO GATORS while being surrounded by LSU fans. Woohoo!!

And, of course, I can never get enough pics of C in her fave spots at the zoo. This elephant is just her size and then right after she says hello we have to go straight the carousel. Yeah, she'd rather just ride the carousel the entire time than go and see all the animals. :)

Then, as usual, we hit up the playground next to the carousel. Luca had his first fun here. He loved going up the slide over and over again.

And then we tried something new, but he couldn't make it over the hump. :( Next time, buddy!! Next time!! :)

Oh, and can you find my hubs in the first pic???? Where's D??? :):) LOL!

Then we came home, relaxed from the heat (it was 90 degrees!!), ate dinner and then I savored my second fave dessert of all time. Vanilla ice cream, oreo cookies, peanuts and a little bit of magic shell. Oh yes!! Yes I did!! Hit the spot perfectly! :)
