My Little Bio

I was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL and I received my Journalism degree from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!). After going back to school and receiving my Elementary Education with ESOL Endorsement degree from Florida Atlantic University, I flew halfway across the world to Guam to be with my college sweetheart who is in the United States Coast Guard, where we married.

We returned to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade. After two years in Florida, we moved to Williamsburg, Virginia.  While my husband attended law school, I tutored K-12 ESOL students while studying to receive my Holistic Health Coaching certification at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City.

While in Williamsburg, my husband and I became parents for the first time and that's when my love for photography started to bloom. I've been an aspiring 'self taught' photographer, who loves to fill her mind up with lots of photography classes and practice, ever since.

One year after our daughter was born, we moved to New Orleans, where I received my Creatively Fit Coaching certification, because I fell in love with the calming powers mindless, creativity provides and felt the need to share this message with the world, because the world is very, very, deficient of mindless, creative fun.

My husband and I are now parents to a big sis and a lil bro and currently reside in New Orleans, Louisiana. We love to spend all of our time with our kiddos either at home or out exploring the Blue Ridge mountains and the Shenandoah National Park, breweries, wineries and any other place in the area that is a kid/toddler friendly.
